Along with the postcard design the mailing list is one of the most important components of your campaign. It’s important when mailing to new prospects that you narrow the list to the best possible prospect. We recommend looking at your current customers and finding common demographics between them. If the majority of your customers are age 30-45, own their own home, have incomes $150k+ and have kids then that is who you should market to. The reason direct mail works better than TV and newsprint is because you are able to weed out people who are less likely to respond (or will never respond at all) and focus your marketing on people who are more likely to respond and more importantly have a need for your product or service.
